Ponyville Library: a library is quintessential blue. The tree part is more of a side effect of the overall setting, so I think monoblue works just fine - or at least, it's blue compared to the other locations of the setting.
Frogsnuggler Gorge: With lack of any other details... a gorge is red, so red.
